Dear Student#

Thank you for your email of 26 August 2007 which has been referred to
Skilled Migration on 28 August 2007.


Whether you are studying a degree, diploma or trade qualification, to meet
the General Skilled Migration (GSM) two year study requirement


the duration of course/s studied must be equal (or greater) than 104
weeks as registered on CRICOS (see http://cricos.dest.gov.au/ to
determine the CRICOS registered length of course in Australia). I would2
recommend that you confirm the length that your course/s is CRICOS
registered for by visiting this website as this is the method used by
General Skilled Migration to determine the duration of your course
study does not have to be undertaken on a full-time basis, it must1 j  
however be undertaken in compliance with your student visa conditions
you may use study from more then one educational provider so long as all
courses studied are CRICOS registered
any credit/exemption obtained will only count once towards meeting the
104 CRICOS registered weeks of study; and
you may used more then one qualification provided that they are all7
closely related to your nominated occupation when you apply for a GSM
visa.
