2010年02月08日废止.

On 8 February 2010 the Minister for Immigration and Citizenship, Senator Chris Evans, announced the revocation of the MODL from 8 February 2010.

申请人从2010年02月08日起将无法得到MODL上职业的额外加分.

Applicants planning to claim additional points for an occupation on MODL to meet the Points Test passmark should consider other options for additional points, for example, improving their English language score.

Point Test Review (以下内容引自"faq-points-test.pdf"文件):

Point Test Review的工作会在2010年的上半年展开.

The GSM Points Test Review will be undertaken in the first half of 2010.

从2010年02月12日至2010年03月12日是征求公众意见的时间(当然是澳洲的公众).

A discussion paper will be placed on the department’s website www.immi.gov.au by 12 February 2010 and be open for public comment until 12 March 2010.

目前还不知道澳洲政府是否决定要更改当前的评分系统.

It is not known if the government will decide to make changes to the GSM Points Test.

如果政府觉得更新移民评分系统是必要的话，它会决定何时生效以及谁会受影响(不知把"who they will apply to"翻译成谁会受影响是否正确)：

通过一个美发师和一个哈佛大学的博士相比较，显然政府认为目前的评分系统需要更新，所以问题就在于何时生效如何改了。注意，这里并不是说2010年中期生效，而是未知.

SOL (以下内容引自"faq-sol.pdf"文件):

管理人员，专业人士，技术人员和经商的人士可能会被列在新的SOL列表里面(这里将expect翻译成可能，因为原文表达了一种期望，但并非肯定).

It is expected to include managerial, professional, technical and trade occupations.

新的SOL可能会在2010年04月30日公布，并于2010年中期生效。提前公布主要是为了帮助客户(这里的客户应该是指申请人或者中介公司).

It is expected that the new SOL will be announced by 30 April 2010 and placed on the Department of Immigration and Citizenship website and take effect from mid-2010. Publication of the new SOL in advance of it taking affect is designed to assist clients.

Employers and state and territory governments will still be able to sponsor applicants who have nominated an occupation that is not included in the new SOL to meet the needs of a particular employer or state/territory if the occupation is included in a state migration plan.

如果申请人的职业不在新的SOL列表中，那么只能考虑走雇主担保，州担保，偏远地区担保了(不能一条道走到黑啊).

If your nominated occupation is not on the new SOL you may wish to consider your eligibility for a permanent employer sponsored visa under the Employer Nomination Scheme, or the Regional Sponsored Migration Scheme.

最后，请注意，尽管会提前公布，但新的SOL在2010年中期才会生效.

计算机类职业的困惑(我们其实很不愿意被别人称为IT...)

在官方的CSL文件中"critical-skills-list.pdf", 有关计算机类职业有这样的叙述：

Computing Professionals -- where the applicant's specialisation is listed on the Migration Occupations in Demand List (MODL).

现在的问题是，计算机类职业是否算作CSL？认为是的根据是上面那句话出现在该CSL文件中，可认为是一个外部reference，让读者去MODL中寻找；认为不是的根据是虽然计算机类职业出现在该CSL文件中，但它的外部链接已经失效了（MODL于2010年02月08日废止），所以自然从该链接得到的结果是什么都没有，相当于这样的叙述Computing Professionals -- NONE，那自然就不算做是CSL了。

若计算机类职业不算是CSL的话，唯一的优势就是它是一个60分(根据当前的评分标准)的职业（这时它既不能得到MODL的额外加分，也不能享受CSL的优先处理）。

综上所述，由于雇主担保，州担保和偏远地区担保都有选择移民的自主权，即受联邦政府朝令夕改的影响较小，故推荐之。

这种解析是不是意味着计算机类职业的处理很模糊？找不到定位？是不是移民机构给自己出了个迷题？
其实ACS应该很明确这个问题 有没有2月8号后计算机职业参加ACS评估的来证实这个说法？

我觉得虽然MODL被撤销 但是计算机职业应该参照MODL来看 只是不加额外的分数而已 这样是比较符合逻辑的 这就是为什么在说2月8日撤销以后还要补充说明在其他地方寻求加分的举例 我的理解 计算机职业在MODL里但不存在额外的加分而已。

其实两个方面来看啦，之前IT是无工作经验不算CSL，永远拍在会计的CSL后面。
好的情况：IT和会计会保留在新SOL里面，而且都是最优先级别，或者要求4个7或PY，就象之前会计入CSL的条件

坏的情况：IT不属于新的SOL里面，只能雇主担保。

    最惨的还是那些是2009年2月8日以后找到工作的，明明满了一年的工作经验，但是无了MODL，还是不算CSL审批，搞死人啊。
