Tenants and ntd
ntd is used by real estate agents throughout Australia for tenant evaluation purposes. At the time of your application, a tenant check will be conducted by the agent to verify the information provided and to establish your rental history. Most tenants treat rented premises responsibly and a database built on objective information provides reference for such tenants - particularly when the rental market is "tight".

Obtaining a copy of your file: To obtain a copy of the personal information ntd has about you on file, please click here.

Please print and mail, fax or email your completed form to ntd along with a photocopy of identification (i.e. drivers licence).

ntd will charge a small administration fee for this service of $15.00 (including GST) to cover immediate processing. If you are prepared to wait up to 10 working days, the information will be returned free of charge. Please indicate which option you prefer on the online form provided. You can provide details of a credit card (Visa, BankCard, Mastercard) or attach a postal order or bank cheque to the completed form along with your copy of identification.

If you feel that you have been unfairly treated, or that the information recorded on ntd is incorrect, please contact ntd or the Real Estate Institute for this matter to be investigated.
