If you have a satisfactory skills assessment, but do not have the necessary 3 years post-qualification work experience in your nominated occupation, you may seek to waive the work experience criterion by demonstrating that exceptional circumstances apply to your case.You, or your employer, will need to provide a detailed submission explaining how the nominated position is so unusual or highly specialised that it is unlikely a suitably skilled person with at least 3 years experience can be found, in Australia or overseas, to fill the vacancy.
