457 医疗保险问题

我申请了一个CSRIO的博士后职位，单位不提供医疗保险。

但是1066表格的第38个问题需要提供医疗保险的证明。

我可以到了澳大利亚再购买医疗保险？还是现在就要买好？1066表格上该怎么填？

请各位大虾指导一下！

需要来之前买好，表格上也说了，你需要同时递交你的保险证明。。。

我也遇到457的保险证明的问题。在国内好像没有这样的保险，必须到澳洲的保险公司买。457的保险一般都是由雇主代买吗？在国内买澳洲保险公司的保险同时让他们开出证明实在麻烦啊。

通过他们的网站购买保险后，48小时以内他们会将证明信通过电子邮件的方式发送给我。

对，保险都是可以网上购买的。。

I'm on 457 Visa and working in CSIRO, just came Australia three month ago. I applied eVisa, instead via 1066 paper form, 医疗保险的证明 is not necessory for eVisa.  CSIRO doesn't offer 医疗保险. My boss bought me a half yearly insurance ($498) beginning from the day I arrived, and I refunded the money when I got the first fortnight salary.  

To apply eVisa, CSIRO should nominate you to the departmant of immigration and get Transaction Reference Number, then you use TRN to log on the website and follow the steps. It's very fast for CSIRO to apply a TRN for you, but it took me almost 3 month to get my Visa.

You should tell your boss or others in your institute to ask CSIRO to nonimate you. Not everyone know the procedure. You should push.
