很喜欢Coles,不过吃的东西还是每个都看清日期比较好,有次在华人超市买了饮料.就一次没看日期.结果就是过期的。哎..还整整买了6包.看着他又不能吃.哎..只有吸取教训以后一次也不能偷懒了

my theory is the same. it's better to go to a mainstream supermarket to do your grocery shopping. I remember when that baby formula scandal happened in China, the food authoriy in Australia inspected a lot of supermarkets in Australia to make sure the baby formula and dairy products are safe.  Their claim is that dairy products sold in mainstream supermarkets are safe! This effectively means two things
4 [3 a6 o% l5 m9 t, h" Q0 D! Z-either they didn't inspect non-mainstream grocery shops/supermarkets, or
1 t  H3 q, y- q9 b-they did and  found that their products were not safe but decided not to disclose to the public.

8 j3 y- [$ ^' }+ K0 e, l1 aOne more good thing about shopping at a big place is that if you are taken advantage of/bullied/they make false claims/products cause bodily harm, you can always sue them or go to "today tonight".  If you shop at a dodgy Chinese shop, i don't think people care much.

But remember, if bad things happen to you, the first step is always collect evidence.
