我在墨尔本 可以直接去MEDICAL CENTER看么？ 直接去medical centre看JP就可以 墨尔本的CHINATOWN里就家 MEDICAL CENTER 去那个就可以了吧？看病一般要带什么东西？ 一般要多少钱呢？？ your medical history!
medicare card. if you have private health insurance, bring the card with you, too. (usually GPs don't need to see your private health insurance card, but if you're referred to a specialist, you'll need it.)
cash or a band card. Usually your visit to a GP costs around 65 dollars. (there are ones who charge less. But I don't have faith in them. )
Of course, before you go, make an appointment!! Almost forgot. For 65 dollars you pay, you can get around 30 dollars back from Medicare.
If you have a serious medical condition, your GP will refer u to a specialist. It costs a lot to see a specialist. (I saw a specialist a while back, it cost me over 1000 dollars!) For your benefit, buy private health insurance if u dont already have one! 先去看GP 家庭医生

If you're serious about your health, go to see a GP in a wealthy suburb.
Because in a wealthy suburb, people have their own opinion and challenge their GP more often. That means the GP has to work harder and contineously update himself/herself with the latest medical findings and technology.
